Designed to help our tenants maintain their independence and quality of life, our support services team consists of skilled professionals and volunteers who provide personal care, light housekeeping, transportation — and more. Personal care services, including daily checks and medication reminders, are free to all Momiji tenants. Housekeeping is free only to those tenants who require personal care. For tenants not requiring personal care housekeeping services are available for a nominal fee.
The following services are available to tenants from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday to Sunday, including holidays. The Momiji residence does not have professional medical staff on site; however, staff is available to respond to tenant emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week if you pull the emergency pull-cord located in each apartment.
- Personal care
- Housekeeping
- Daily morning and/or evening checks
- Medication and meal reminders
- Coordination of staff escorts and transportation to medical and non-medical appointments, and group outings
- Case management, identification and assessment of physical and emotional care needs
- Information and referral to other community services
- Coordination of special services such as the annual flu shot clinic and chiropody clinic
