Following our Annual General Meeting on September 22, attendees were treated to the official opening of Momiji’s new Hori & Sasaki Elderly Persons Centre (EPC). Thanks largely to very generous donations from Mr. Frank Hori and Mr. Fred Sasaki, an underutilized space has been transformed into a modern multi-purpose recreation and office area to serve our seniors. Mr. Sasaki and Ms. Mary Hori, representing her brother Frank, were on hand for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The Hori & Sasaki EPC furnishings were purchased from the proceeds of our Annual Bowlathon and through the kind contributions of Momiji supporters. Thank you to all who helped to make this project possible and to all who shared in this special moment. We promise to put it to good use.
